The national spots will again feature BEARPAW ambassador Erika Frances as the quintessential modern mom, wife, and friend. To accompany with the new media campaign, the brand will continue to align with key women’s bloggers and influencers to maintain an ongoing relationship with the target audience of women ages 25 to 49.

BEARPAW LAUNCHES FIRST APPAREL COLLECTION IN TIME FOR FALL


Citrus Heights, CA (October 5, 2016) — BEARPAW, a global leader in fashion footwear for men, women and children, is moving into the apparel sector with the launch of a new line of outerwear. The brand debuts this month showcasing a range of jackets in multiple styles and fabrics for both men and women.


"We have grown our footwear into what we think is mainstream and middle America," BEARPAW President, John Pierce explains. "We felt that at this time-where our footwear is going we should do an outerwear line and it is perfect for the consumer going into the fall and winter season."


The Fall '16 line includes seven looks for women including the Fargo, Fairbanks, Aurora and Seattle. The Fargo is a lighter style jacket with a fixed off and elastic taping that securely wraps all zippered pockets opening, allowing great fit and function. The Aurora is a straight-cut jacket with fixed, Sherpa-lined hood and two zipped pockets. The Fairbanks is the most technical jacket featuring dual polar/coral fleece linking, a detachable hood, injected zippers and snow belts. The Seattle is a lightweight polar fleece jacket featuring a performance nylon blazer.


The men's collection features the Bozeman, Washington and Durham styles. The Bozeman is a lightweight, packable down jacket that comes with a travel bag for convenient carry. The Washington is a knitted, sweater fleece jacket featuring bold contrast piping details that delivers a great look with maximum warmth. Martini, who holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Auburn University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business with a Finance Concentration from University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, brings over 17 years of progressive financial management and analysis experience to the position. He joins BEARPAW after a successful ten-year tenure at VF, where he held various positions within the JanSport brand including Controller, Director of FP&A, and most recently Chief Financial Officer. Prior to his stint at VF, he worked at Unilever Ice Cream, General Mills, and W.W. Grainger, Inc.

In addition to Martini’s arrival, BEARPAW has announced Edna De Pamphilis as the new Marketing Director, where De Pamphilis will spearhead the brand’s marketing and communications efforts. In this role, she will develop innovative marketing strategies and execute key opportunities to continue to build the brand identity. De Pamphilis brings an extensive background in marketing and sales including her previous years as the Director of Marketing & Communications at GolfBuddy and the Marketing Services Manager at Brown Shoe Company. Edna De Pamphilis holds a Bachelor’s of Art in Psychology, Social Behavior and Criminology and a certificate in marketing from the University of California, Irvine.
